Hello all I just found this site and learned about dosbox, so I was able to get one of my favorite oldies to play. But now the sound will not work, your are forced to select a sound card in the set up process, but I am running an integraded sound card on my Dell system and this isnt an option. Does anyone know of a way to get the sound working? TIA!
Neither the sound blaster or the blaster pro worked with the default settings. I was thinking the ports or somthing would be different than default since it is integrated??? I dont know much about this sort of thing... =/ Thanks for your help so far man!
That was me in the previous post, Also when running the game through dosbox I get the error saying the cd needs to be inserted, even though it is in the drive. Would you know anything about this problem?

I just dont get it, I tried using the VDM programs the way they are mentioned and i get the same error as running it with out dosbox. I got the CD issue fixed but now when I try to play a game it just goes black screen and freezes! Also the intro movies freezes at the first frame. I have about 12 windows open of different things trying figure this out, I am just not having any luck!
