Tearing my hair out just trying to play a stupid game

Post by Nate3 »

How ridiculously hard is it to run this stupid zip program to get my descent up and running. Ultimate Zip is my machine and XP Home is my system. I am very close to saying f**k it and giving up, as this is the fourth time Ive tried to run this stupid program.
Help anyone?

Maybe you indeed better give up.

Or maybe you could use the f**king search function( aviable on all the boards i ever been on, and there are tigs i've been on).

and that search funtion would bring you this:

And now go on and give it up.

BTW:I don't believe ultimate zip is the one "stupid" here, sorry.
And if that game is so stupid, why bother to play it ???????????????????

Thanks. I think.

Your info was helpful, but I cried, and now will go wipe my tears on my woobie.

Zip malfunction

Post by Nate3 »

Upon further review your info was NOT helpful. Your link was to a page on free zip utilities. If you had read my post you would see that I ALREADY HAVE a zip utility, just that I seem to have problems getting it to perform its requisite task.
Thanks though, Im still crying in my woobie.

Hi!

What exactly is your problem? You can't unzip a game? I have had some trouble with that on my old computer too if that is the case. Both with winrar and winzip. Thought it was my cd-reader since my newer comp can read and unzip the same files.

Do you get an error message? Please give me some info

Hugh ?
You state in your first post:

Hmmmm????
If you can't get your "stupid" zip program running, why don't try another one? Maybe a less stupid one?
Install, let's say Winzip, double click on the zip file and the prog will do his work............................How hard can that be ?????

If the problem lays somewhere else, maybe you could be a bit more specific, then we could give you better advise.

What?

Who is Hugh?

I figured it out on my own. Thanks for the constructive criticism though, I feel better about life.

Dosraider, that behaviour towards any users is inappropriate.. Please keep yourself under control or i am going to have to recommend counciling..

Nate3: I have never heard of ultimate Zip in my life but I can be sure it does the job.

If you havent gone and bought it i highly recommend WinRAR as if you have corrupt archives sometimes they can be repaired and most contents can be recovered.

Im locking this to prevent any more bad stuff happening
