Looking for Boulderdash version/clone

Post by dr_st »

When I was little I played a game that was introduced to me as Boulderdash. It wasn't on the PC, and in fact I don't remember what system it was on. Later I discovered that there are many versions of Boulderdash and even more clones, and so far I couldn't get my hands on that particular version.

The game featured 26 levels (from A to Z) and the enemies were a butterfly and a heart-shaped mine. I remember that there was a butterfly already in the first level. And, well, that's pretty much all I remember. Except that the mine could blow up walls and you had to use this feature in some levels.

Anyone knows what I'm talking about?

This Site has a ton of clones on it, you might be able to find it here.
Was It like a 2D monocolor type game? I might know what you're talking about.

No, I seem to recall it was colorful. Although a child's memory can be misleading...

Thanks for the link. I'll try to find something there.

Is it the original Boulder Dash? The original Boulder Dash was available for many systems. It had lot of butterfilies, some more butterfiles, slime, squares etc. There is also the original Boulder Dash 2 .

As for "Boulders" (Boulder Dash clone) full version, don't have it.
