I wonder if anyone managed to get it working more or less decently in WinXP? The game does start after being tppatched, but it crashes whenever the mouse cursor hits the edge of the screen. Another problem is that sound is coorupt with VDMS and no sound at all without it

Any hints ?

After some twaking I can safely hit the upper and left edge of the screen with cursor now. But the right and bottom edge still crash the game.

I use dosbox. seems to work fine there.

Hi i was just wondering if anyone can give me some hints when talking to the aliens.. all of them seem to be either peace/angry or war/angry. how the heck do you make peace, form the alliance etc.. nothing i type in seems to work.. got a few responses like typing ironseed, tried using race names like the manual said but that doesn't get a response either???

anyone got any clues? no walk throughs or hints available on the web anywhere i can find.
