Wolfenstein 3D in Windows NT

I can't get Wolfie 3D to work in Winodws NT. The DOS screen (in a window) shows up but then get a message saying:

16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem
C:\WINNT\system32\cmd.exe
C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT

The system file is not uitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose "Close" to terminate the application.

Any thoughts? Or do I need to get the 386 computer out of the attic?

Use DOSBox.
