Are there any SNES type RPG games?

Help locating old / Pre year 2000 games you used to play.

Are there any SNES type RPG games?

Post by Mingy Jongo »

Does anyone know of any games like Zelda or Final Fantasy for DOS? The kind that are viewed from overhead and you either fight action style like Zelda or turn-based like Final Fantasy. I'm looking for freeware or shareware only please, and if you can, link me to the official site that has the game if there is one. I also wouldn't mind if someone told me about some Windows ones. I've played Dink Smallwood but that's the only one I know of. Thanks.

Abandonware is a term used to describe games which their companies no longer support them and you won't be able to find them in stores and downloading them is illegal. The law says you have to wait 70 years for abandonware to be released as freeware. (In Canada it's 50 years after the author has died.) Or unless the author decides to release it as freeware. But even if you do download them, there's really no way to be caught. So the goverment decided to suspend and shut down abandonware sites all over the net. But there still some sites left. You can see a list and links of them at:

http://www.abandonwarering.com

The link above is not for abandonware games, just a site with a list of them. So I'm not in trouble!

*Does a evil laugh and continues to download abandonware and warez*

getting back to the actual topic if your talking about the nes zelda you can get it from www.armageddongames.com Zelda Classic

just curious how many poeple like AC\DC
One time I had a Jack and coke and it had a lime in it, And I saw that the lime was floating. That's good news man. Next time I'm on a boat and it capsizes, I'll reach for a lime... I'll be water skiing without a life preserver and people'll say 'What the hell?' and I'll pull out a lime...and a lemon too. I'm saved by the buoyancy of citrus.
