Crusader No Remorse Help: Halted File MEMORY\CPROTMEM.C, lin

I run install.exe in Dosbox 0.63 on my Windows 2000 Pro machine and I get the following error:

Halted File MEMORY\CPROTMEM.C, line 1318.

Anyone know a way around this? I can't even get the installer to run, it crashes a second after I execute install.exe.

Help would be most appreciated..this is one of my favorites of all time and I would so love to play it again.
