Old Space Game... Can't Remember the Name

I once, long ago, had this space game that was a demo. It came with the Skunny Kart Series. In the game, you would fly from planet to planet in search of resources and make allies and enemies along the way. It was a great game and I would love to find it again. Anyone know what I am talking about? If anyone can help, PLEASE email me. Thanks

Funnily enough i played this not long ago on my powerbook ..
