please help

to sum up my struggle;

i downloaded the shareware version of hugo's house of horrors. the module runs perfectly on my pc with windows 2k. on my laptop with win 2k the game doesn't work. i get sound, but no video (wtf?)

i realize my description was brief however i'm confident that someone will be able to offer some advice

Perhaps the laptop's video system (or driver) may not be compatible.

Try upgrading the video drivers on your laptop (if you can).

might be better to downgrade

That is, if he can find an older video driver than the one he already has.
