lookin for and old game in the game u were a mouse who had to move things around to catch mice and u would also have to get cheese

are you sure you had to catch mice and not cats? Because I think that theres a game that comes with windows where you're a mouse and you have to trap cats among blocks.

I do believe it is called Rodent's Revenge, which is part of the Best of Windows Entertainment Pack.
