"Pharaoh" ?

Hi there...

I'm remembering a game I played quite some time ago, most probably with CGA or EGA graphics (and in German):

it was set in ancient Egypt and you were playing a character that was ultimately to become Pharaoh. All I can remember are various game elements:

- in battles, you were shooting arrows at your enemies from a chariot;
- sometimes you had to escape from a maze within a pyramid;
- there was a splitted map of upper and lower egypt, you could travel (maybe trade) up and down the nile;
- something about marrying "prestigious" girls?

I was pretty sure that game was called "Pharaoh", but since I couldn't find any information under that title on the internet, I assume I was wrong?!

I can't help on this one but I'm looking for something a bit the same that I played about 10 years ago.
You arrived by plane in the desert and then had to explore a pyramid with a pretty large number of rooms some of which contained puzzles, hidden objects, the occasional bit of nastiness (!), etc., etc.
I remember havng to collect ankhs and match objects to progress further.
I never got to finish it and I really would like to find it.

I have a game called Pharaoh, but I dont think it is the one you were talking about. In this one you build cities and such. Basically like Age of Empires, I think. I havent really played it yet, though. it is made by Sierra Studios.
