Originally it was for the Win98 platform, not for the DOS, it's not that old, it's six years old. Go here if you'd like to know more abuot the game.
Well, anyway... If it was for the Win98 (assuming it came out on 1999), could it have worked on the DOS? Or is it not possible? If it was also for the DOS platform, what do I need to do in order to get to work on a WinXP platform? I tried reading that tutorial, but... I'd prefer a step-by-step, more detailed, tutorial, if there is one. If there isn't, I'll just read that one again.
I'm trying to get Heroes of Might & Magic III to work on WinXP, which came out on 1999 (probably for Win98 & Win95), what do I need to do?
Thanks in advance.
How do I get Heroes of Might & Magic III to work?
If it's dos : dosbox.
If it's W95 / W98 : rightclick the ?.exe and set the compability 's , and check the boxes for 640x480 , no advanced ..............
hell: check all the boxes and try it out.
I don't know the game , so those are allround suggestions.
Usual get's a game running with those, but some pure W95 games can be bitchy .
