On my system to install raptor
dosbox prompt z:
Remember: before mounting a flop insert the flop or you will get a error warning.
mount a a:/
mount c e:/games
a:
install

after the game installed on e:\games\raptor\ and e:\games being mounted as c:root

c:
cd raptor
raptor

here i go.........raptor is running smootly with sound....yes. :)

If you have a problem READ my first post and STATE AS CLEARELY as possible your problem. :Angry:

Waw mister that much info again, i'm flushed away.
So again on my pc :
dosbox
-> mount c e:/games <enter>
-> c: <enter>
-> cd raptor <enter>
-> raptor <enter>

on your pc : replace the e:/games by your path.
Also on your pc 'raptor' will not work, i have the habit of writing a batch to start up games , when my kids learned work and play on a pc (long time ago ) it was easy to let them start the game with it's own name. It seems i have keeped that habit.
I suppose you don't wrote a raptor.bat so for you it will be :

-> mount c e:/games <enter>
-> c: <enter>
-> cd raptor <enter>
-> rap <enter>

If you should wonder why i mount e:\games as c: root ,there is a simple reason. Some games will insist save their games on the c: root. I like a clean pc, so i give them the e:\games as c: root. They are happy with it and i keep a clean system whitout a shipload of crap on my system root. So i also stay happy.

Yes , happy moi . :)

EDIT:
Almost forgot : before typing"rap" type setup and set your sound param's.
dosbox standards are: SB/220/IRQ7/DMA1/ the digital channels on my pc : 8,if the sound stutters or is crappy lower the channels to 4
