need utility to slow down modern laptop running WinXP

Anyone know of a program that will "slow" a PC so that old DOS games will run at "human" speed?? Need name and where to find it.

When I posted the question, I didn't know that DOSBOX took care of the speed.

I now have it installed and working, and running some of those old Broderbund action games. Quite fun!
