you aren't very clear about your problem,
A sega emulator? What emulator you are talking about?
XP on your pc? what pc specs?

i have a sega emulator: dega ,runs fine on W98se and XPsp2.

no special settings,just install it and it runs fine,normal speed and nice sounds,with usb joystick support(trough windows).
If it can be some help to you here are the original config settings:
// Dega v1.07 Config File

// File
RomFolder E:\sega

// Setup
SetupPal 0
MastEx 0
TryOverlay 2

// Sound
DSoundSamRate 12000
MastPsgEnhance 0

// Input
UseJoystick 1

// State
StateFolder D:\Sega
AutoLoadSave 0

If you want more specific help you will have to explain a bit more what you mean when you say: "but now i am stuck".
Just a last remarq:you need a pretty fast pc for most emulator's to run fine,on my old P3/650MHz with 256 RAM it wasn't running very smootly.
B)

BTW:There is a forum for technical help.

What Emulator do you have?
What system does it emulate?
IIRC: Alex the Kid was a master system game. It was probably remade for Mega Drive, but just make sure you've got the right system.

Oh, just read your problem is actually downloading those games.

Erm: it used to be really easy to get ROMs for Gameboy, SNES, Sega etc. There's been a lot of cracking down on these sites though. I could direct you to www.justfuckinggoogleit.com :P Google is a good place to start for downloading these things.

If that doesn't work, you can go to PLAN B. Download the ROMs using Kazaa, Edonkey, Limewire, or other evil P2P programs.

pffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff :Angry: hold my breath........................................................... :laugh: oké

1)i advise you to find the sega emulator:DEGA(there are others...)
2)install DEGA on your pc.
Dega is a Sega Master System / Mark III / Game Gear emulator,runs
under Windows 95,NT,98,2000,ME or XP.
3) Get yourself some SMS rom's from innet,plenty sites have them (google: ROM) and store them in a folder(X:\roms?)
4)Start DEGA
5)go to "options",choose for starters red/bleu3D,
go to "input" and make your choice
6)go to file "load rom" and point where you have put your SMS rom's and choose one.
here you go......
B)
If you want more specific help could you pleaaaaaaaaaaaase explain a little bit more than just state
"i am stuck"?
When i ask for pc specs i wanna know what your cpu,speed ....from your pc are.

Do you want us to guess what's your problem?ok then:
can you install the emulator?what is your emulator?have you roms?

be honnest: a"emulator" and"stuck" is a bit vague.
B)

DOSSER:www.justfuckinggoogleit.com tssssssssssss....... :laugh:

Hmm, I didn't know there were so many Alex the Kidd games. So far I have only tried the Sega Genesis version. Anyway, I am not of fan of that game. Here is the list if you are interested. When you know the title, you know what to search for. ;)

As for Wonderboy, there are also other releases that go by the name "Adventure Island". It had been available for many consoles. There are also sequels like "Adventure Island 2" & "Adventure Island 3".

In the interest of preventing further flaming, I'll now close this thread. :suspicious:

Thank you to those who did participate; in the future lets try to keep things a bit more civil, eh?

Just to clarify things for anyone who reads this thread later looking for emulator/rom help ... emulator software programs are like the systems that play roms which are like the games. In fact ROMs are just the actual game code, dumped off the cartridge (or CD) to a file. Emulators are legal and can be downloaded from many sites (like Zophar for example), whereas ROMs are in most cases illegal. Doing a Google search will likely yield some results. (For example, "sega genesis roms".) However, its worth noting that most sites that provide roms often have spyware ads (or at least annoying ads with lots of popups) so I'd suggest browsing using a non-IE browser like Firefox.
