Im attempting to get this old DOS game going with no luck.
Under DOS and even using DOSBOX the best I can get is to get an error message: "Unable to obtain linear framebuffer selector!"
Does anyone have any hints on resolving this issue?

I did get to run this under dosbox... somewhat that is. Using Dosbox, run the setup.exe for cavewars and configure sound. Once thats done, run cavehigh.exe instead of cave.bat - This (under win2k) should get you to the title screen... after that im hosed, because i am getting alot of illegal dosbox codes after that. BUT, maybe you can figure something out where I have not.
Not sure why, but running CAVE.BAT gives me that linear selector error message - skipping the batch file helps - but I still cant play... I figure I'll just try more later...
