no dos games will work

i can't get any old dos games to work on my windows xp..i've tried keen (1-4) and wacky wheels. for all of them i get this error "C:\DOCUMEN~1\Jill\Desktop\WACKY\WW.EXE
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application." Then there's the options close and ignore and both do nothing. plz help!!

fixed it - replaced the AUTOEXEC.NT file from recovery. yay for old dos games

I have just downloaded Paratrooper, but it won't work on my Windows XP!!

I get the same error as above...PLEASE can someone help??

I know what you mean. I don't know how to correct this, but until it can be, use the dosbox. You can get it at dosbox.sourceforge.net I use it and it does a good job of working my dosgames
