Since you cannot restart in dos mode for computers with windows me 4.9 and above, you can do one of the following:

1- Dos Emulator - Although i have never used one, i have heard good things
2- Bootdisk - Look on www.bootdisk.com and try and find one that will make windows not start.
3. Go to start -> run and type in msconfig . Click on advanced and check off startup menu. Restart, and when a menu comes up, chose COMMAND PROMPT ONLY. Now run the game througfh there.
4. Put in the windows me cd-rom and restart. A menu should pop up. Choose run from cd -> Run with cd-rom support. Now you have a dos command.
5. Try the ms-dos prompt

These will only work if you know dos however.
