Betrayal at Krondor-memory problem!

Hi.
When i try to run Krondor it tells me that i lack the memory. I even tried VDM sound which has a nice option where i can expand memory. It didn't work. It did work on Dos Box but I really hate it as it slows down my computer extremely and the game is quite choppy even when i tinker with the Clock speed and frameskip in it. Any advices on running it lets suppose with Vdm Sound?I got Win Xp of course.

If i had good old Win 95/98 i would just play with config.sys....

Try opening your config.nt (with notepad(usually located in your system32 folder (under windows) and add at the end "emm=RAM" (without the quotes).
