HELP!!! [stability of DOS games in general]

please someone can help me out? i need to know if running dsos games will screw up my computer?

Just download them from DOSGAMES.COM (this site) or another very trustworthy site. Scan all games for viruses before playing.

The chances of a DOS game screwing up your computer are fairly slim, so for the most part, you should be safe. Especially with Windows XP, since it is very overprotective over the software and hardware.

Even if a game crashes or locks up, a reboot should easily bring you back to normal.

so even if i had win 98 there is a chance that it could turn my comp into dos

The game may have a PIF file that runs your computer in DOS mode. Just quit the game, and Windows should come back.
