Putting off sound? lol

Post by Guest »

Hi all, I've started played DOS games recently and I am using a headset for my pc to not annoy my family with the sounds that my pc is making ^o^
But the sound that my DOS games make doesn't come trough my headset.
In some games I can put off the sound in the game by pressing a button, but in other games it doesn't seem to be that easy.
-So I'm asking how to put off the sound in DOS games trough a general method.
-Or if you guys could suggest a way to make the sound go trough my headset.
And to conclude --> :cuccoan:

If you really want to listen to the sounds use the Dos emulator dosbox avaliable at http://dosbox.sourceforge.net which emulates PC speaker through sound blasters or in your case headphones. Instructions are also avaliable within the setup file

Or you can access bios and disable the pc speaker all together
