Red Baron in DOS 6.22

hey all,

i'm running dos 6.22 and have an issue with Red Baron
i cannot change the screen setting from 16 color EGA to 16 color VGA.
i have went into the install.com file and set it to 16color VGA (which was detected) and saved the setting and everything.
unfortunately it keeps re-setting back to EGA. the result is just cruddy colors and poor resolution. (worse than my old 286)
any suggestions on how to get it to work?

I don't know, but did you run c:\windows\setup to change it to VGA? I never had an EGA card, so I wouldn't really know. I had a problem with this a long time ago trying to change the screen resolution. I honestly don't know. I just don't know. my head is bleeding now - I must go.
