Audio in WarcraftII (NON-MIDI!)

Post by GrapeApe »

I'm having trouble getting the highquality War2 soundtrack to play on my computer. I can get the crappy MIDI music to work, but it's just awful. It's weird, and here's where I am at:

After I install War2, it tells me it wants to set up audio. So it defaults to "Sound Blaster" (I have a SB Audigy), it installs it, and then when I click test at the end, I hear the guy going "Your soundcard works perfectly!"
Next, it says it's time to install the "music driver" so it chooses Sound Blaster again, I click next, it says it installs and then when I click "Test" I hear nothing  Does anyone know how I can specify MY soundcard? The only option I have is to "manually specify audio port" or something, and I have no idea how to figureout what my audio port it (the selection in the installer defauls to 220 or something after I click the button that allows me to manually specify).

Help pweeeez!

Select "General MIDI" or "MPU-401" or "Adlib". One or more of them should work.

Oh yeah, and select Port 330.
