catacomb abyss

can someone explain how to run this in dosbox

i opened dosbox and typed

mount c c:\catabyss

which is where the catabyss folder is located so i guess that is correct

then i type

c:\start

and it says

SHELL ERROR: Can't load file BKGND.SHL

does anyone know how to get this working and please keep it simple i'm not very familiar with how dos works

cd catabyss
start

ok

Type c:\
then you are in the catabyss directory

then type start.

I think you press 6 to play game.

c:\ is an illegal command

start is an illegal command

c:\start still gives shell error

What's on screen when DB's started?

whenever i try to run catacomb abyss it says that i have to type start or something then it terminates is there something wrong? this is a old game i used to play on a ciomputer a long time ago and i really want it to work cause i really like it
