Indy 500 REEEAALLY slow in XP

Post by Scero »

I'm trying to run Indy 500 in XP, and I can't get it to go any faster than 1/10 of realtime. Any suggestions?
Thanks

try turning down or speeding up your hardware accelerator, that always worked for me when things ran slow like that. If that doesn't work, then try turning off all of the fancy extra stuff on it, that worked for me in Jedi Outcast 2. It might be slow because your computer isn't able to run it or it has somekind of spyware or adware, but that probably isn't the case.

thanks for the suggestion, but no help. Indy 500 is an old DOS game (most advanced part of the program is the SVGA graphics)
