Where has the good old fashioned game 'pocket' been hiding?!
Where has the good old fashioned game 'pocket' been hiding?!
Hello computer-men,
When I was a little kid, (for about 10 years ago now) I used to play a game called 'pocket' (I'm not quite sure about that name, but it's all my memory can find).
Does anyone remember such a game? I would be very grateful!

do you mean Monsters in My Pocket For NES
It is a game for the Nintendo Entertainment System and you went around fighting monsters as a vampire or frankenstein.
There was a NES game called "Monster in my Pocket" ... that *could* be the game the guy was thinking of, although its definitely not a DOS game. (Well, unless you're using a DOS emulator of course )

Hello again,
I know it's sad but the only things I can vaguely remember are:
The game's name contains the word 'pocket'
In the intro of the game you can see a guy (the main character) preparing for adventure...
It's a 2D game for DOS
Every password (I guess there were +- 30 levels) contains four characters
You can make the plants growing to use them as a ladder
You had to fight against a gorilla one time...
And no, it's not one of the game you mentioned above... and I'm afraid such a game has allready been forgotten...

This is my last guess. How about "Magic Pockets"?

You don't have to enter a password before entering a new level. When you finish a level, they will give you a password. The they will display "Enter code 03 & ????". Just press enter to continue. The password is more for those who stopped halfway and want to continue another time.Wild-Child wrote:And does anyone knows where I can get hold of the passwords? The 4-candies password that we have to enter at the end of each level before we can get into the next one?
My sister finshed the game till the Mountain level. That's where I got the passwords from (see below). There are 30 levels in all. I really loved this game but when I played it a long time ago, I got stuck at one of the Jungle levels. Ahh your mention of this game makes me feel like playing it again. The special items are the most fun to use and I love the fun of playing with the snow and rolling a snowball.

Anyway, just in case anyone is interested to know. Magic Pockets works best for Win3.1 For other windows platforms, if you see a blank black screen with sound only, you can use dosbox to make it work.
