Howitzer?

Looking for an old game that I thought was called Howitzer. Two player, two Howitzers on opisite sides of the screen. Input angle and power figures and try to hit your opponent.

I have the game ur lookin 4. It's called Howitzer indeed, but I couldn't run it on my system (P4, winXP)...

Better than Howitzer

HIGHLY recommend you look into "Scortched Earth". In '91 I introed it to my friends who wanted a break from a long game of Empire for a few minutes. It's a half hour type game. They loved it so much we played it to death for months. :D

It's like a multi-player Howitzer with very cool shell types that make pretty colors, explosions and stange effects. The weather, gravity and wind are adjustable. People can enter and leave in the middle of the game (very handy!!). The guns can move some and there are shields of various types. If you get destroyed the gun blows up with a random effect that can take out others. There are multiple rounds (you choose #) and you re-equip between rounds. Then have at 'em again. Should run on some Pentiums. :karate:

I like that game. There are 2 different versions of it.

howitzer is better technically than scorched earth, but they are similar
