Can't slow game down!

Post by shaul »

Hi, I've got this old game called "ballgame 2".
I'm trying to run it on windows xp, and it works way too fast! so fast that I can't control the ball; and also the screen goes blank every 2 seconds.
I havn't got an older computer....
I tryed CPUkiller, but it didn't help.
Anyone suggest an emulator that can solve the problem?
[I've got Dosbox, but there's a Z: instead of C:, and I don't know how to get it to read from C] :shame:
I tryed the program compatibility tip....didn't change a thing...
I've tryed MOSLO too, and he reported "there was an error when trying to slow down the game"

Is it a non xp compatible game?

Help appreciated

hey, i got a problem with the cd-man game for my windows98 comp. recentlly got an old comp. it has the 'famous' Cdman game and it works great. Got a totally cool score of 101,000 (22 / something levels it took about an hour )that no one can beat in my house :) . The problem is when i copied the game to my windows 98 comp. it runs toooo dang fast..... , i tried molso and it did nothing. would like help from anyone who had the same problem. i noticed in the old comp. there was a file called fixcdman.bat so i copied that also but it did nothing for my windows 98. please help if anyone found a way around it.......

Dosbox version may be corrup shaul. CDman try using Dosbox as mentioned above. Or run in Plain old MS dos

or use the /n switch for moslo where as n is the percent you want the game to run on the CPU
