I've bean looking for this great game for years!
I can't remmember what it's called, just a vague description...
You play a red ball. You view the ball from above as you roll along grey paves. you need to collect yellow points, and reach the end without falling off!
you control the ball with the cursors.
...there were loads of levels....
I think that's all I remmember....
Please Help!

Old Puzzle Game, I can't remmember the name...
I'm not sure the ball wasn't purple, I remembered it red though. Anyhow, the name "ball game" is too common, so I had difficulty in finding the game you're talking about. I found a few games called "the ball game" which aren't similar to the game I'm looking for. I'd be glad if you could give me a link, or otherwise send it to me via email...Thanks a lot. As for Oxyd, or Sokoban, I fear it's not them.
I'll try to recall more details...The graphics of the game were not bad, I guess it wasn't that old. Beneath, you could see the sky, and if you fall off the path you see the ball slowly disappearing into the abyss. You had to play quite slow and careful...unless you fall off.
Please keep trying.

I'm convinced it is Ballgame (sometimes called Ballgame 2, but I have never seen Ballgame 1). I am sending it to you right now, because I couldn't find it anywhere online.
Can I upload games to this site? I would gladly upload Ballgame. If not, would anyone be interested in me uploading it so that it has a permanent storage?

YEAH!!!!!!
Thanks dr, you were right the ball was purple!
Now, I've only got one problem...although...maybe I should be posting it in "getting games to work" discussion. The game works really really fast, and every 2 seconds the screen goes blank for a sec. (running on XP).
well...anyhow, thanks a lot!

I couldn't even get it to run on XP. I run it in MS-DOS, on a Pentium 200, and even then I use a slowdown utility. Without it the game is indeed too fast and the ball is uncontrolable.
I suggest you indeed post the question in the help forum, if you haven't done so already. I believe a DOS emulator like DOSBox may help you out, but I don't have any personal experience with it, so I can't be helpful.
