What music player do you use and why do you use it?

Windows Media Player 9 because it comes with Windows, and it is satisfactory enough that I don't bother to download any other player like Winamp or whatever. WMP also provides integrated CD-burning. The only problem with WMP is that it is BLOATWARE! But that doesn't matter as long as I use it on my Pentium 4.
I used Winamp a while back, it was cool, but now I have little reason to get it (or any other media player) since Windows already provides the necessary tool.

I use Winamp 5. 3 was good, 5 is better. I use it not only b/c of its amazing interface and cool skins, but also because of the awesome EQ you get with it and there are a few cool plugins for it too. Temporary playlists are really easy to create, and AFAIK, it can read ALL music files. Not too sure if WMP can read TRACKER and XM sound files.

I still use Winamp 3 ... it works fine for what I wanna do (play mp3s, thats pretty much it) ... it doesn't take up a lot of memory/resources ... and it minimizes to the systray. Plus (I know you didn't wanna hear 'bout skins but) the OSX Panther skin I have matches my WinXP theme
Oh yea and like wardrich mentioned Winamp plays all my old .IT, .XM, .S3M etc files too

Thats ok Emmzee, I just didn't want people on here saying they liked a player because of cool skins, or friends have that program so I will get it as well...etc etc
There are better reasons, such as features, plug-ins etc etc

I prefer WinAmp over Windows Media Player, but I still like Windows Media Player, as it has features what WinAmp doesn't have!!
I also have tried others such as QuickTime and RealPlayer but disliked it as it lacks features which I needed.

Dell Jukebox. Excellent CD lookup, great skins, excellent features, wonderful built-in-burner, and I just really like it. Plus its MusicmatchMX feature kicks ass as well.
