Well, I would seriously suggest MegaZeux, even though it is very selective on which computers it will work properly on. Some features, such as sound, and SMZX (a vga hack that allows more colors) only work with certain conditions. But overall, its the best GCS I have come across. It's so flexible, and you can use MZX Robotic for almost anything. It's easy to learn; I picked up the basics after about a week. A great MZX site would be www.digitalmzx.net.
It has awesome forums, and updates on the MZX Windows port. Also, you can pick up a lot of good MZX games from there, along with Zeuxworld.com.
