Hey i can't get UFO to eork on my WIndows XP comp. It says there is an error with CMD.exe when i try to build my base. It loads up fine and i can start a new game but then it crashes. can anyone help. P.s. the file to load the game is UFO.BAT not exe

Since CMD.EXE (Windows XP's DOS interpreter) and that game cannot interact in harmony, you may need a program that does not use XP's DOS system. Such programs include DOSBox, Virtual PC, 4DOS, etc.

The easiest one to use is DOSBox, which can be found at http://dosbox.sourceforge.net

Or, if your hard drive is not formatted using NTFS, you can create a boot disk and boot directly to old DOS, then run the game.
