Install.exe not responding
Install.exe not responding
I've had this problem with other games, as well. I try to open the "install.exe" file for my game Amazon Trail II, but nothing happens, there's no error message or anything. It also does the same thing when I try to install Monkey Island III. Why does it do this, and how do I solve this problem?

Is this supposed to work for the Install.exe file when it is in the D: drive, though? I've been trying to get it to run, but it's not doing it. It just says it isn't a DOS file. Oh, and the setup did open, but not until about an hour later, and by that time it wasn't responding. This is just very strange.
My mistake, I tried running the opening screen of the game, and it said it wouldn't run with the dos program, which is understandable. But when I opened Install.exe in Dodge and pushed "Run program" under the Emulator tab, nothing happened again. There was no error message for the install.exe file, it just simply doesn't respond. I did try the compatibility bar for Windows 95, but that hasn't helped either. I have no idea what's causing this problem! Eventually the install does open up, but it takes so long to open(about an hour now) that it's frozen and won't respond anyway.
I just downloaded the evaluation version of moslo, but I have no idea how this thing is supposed to run. When opening the program, it says to type the command , but typing any key will make you exit the program. I'm already having enough trouble as it is trying to open one program than to figure out a program to open that same program! I am by no means a computer genius, but I'm doing all I can to figure this out. Thanks for the help, though
*Ahem* Moslo has worked for win Applications but yes you are right Jack Squat(Also, if it is windows, moslo and dosbox won't do jack squat for it

umm there is an emulator no bigger than 3mb, install win 95 on to it and then run your game

Yes, I have the installation instructions here for Windows 95 operating system:
[ Insert the CD in the CD-ROM drive. Click the INSTALL button after the Amazon Trail II screen appears.
Follow the on-screen prompts until the installation is complete
To start the program, double-click on the Amazon Trail II icon on your hard disk, keeping the CD in your CD-ROM drive. ]
You see, I can get to the menu that has the "install" "uninstall" "readme", etc...options, but when I clock on the install option, nothing happens just like before. And yes, I have found that neither of the two programs work for the game.![Sad :(](./images/smilies/sad.gif)
