one must fall 2097 -> black screen =/?

i want to play omf 2097 again, i burned the files on a cd. if i start install.exe it just says, it can't find something cd data or things so i started OMF21.exe and it installed the things. so i have all those files in C:\DOS\OMF now, if i want to start OMF.exe i just get a black screen =/ i tested a couple of options, but nothing really worked. I'm using Windows XP SP1 on an Laptop 2.4GHz (Blockbuster 2440 XL DVD-RW 07/03). I'm starting the OMF.EXE with VDMS and standard options. I would be VERY, VERY thankful if anyone could help me. Looked around for a couple of days but found nothing. This game is just awesome and i think it's worth the effort. Thanks ^^

Try dosbox...

I have the same problems check this www.dosgames.com/~wally4000/games.xls for more details on getting it running
