Legend of Kyrandia in DOS mode, can't get sound

I'm using a dos boot disk. I have sound in Under a Killing Moon and other games but I can't get it to work in Legend of Kyrandia.

I have a Sound Blaster AWE32. Isn't there a dos driver for Sound Blaster emulation that I can use so Kyrandia will recognize the card?

Try putting SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 T1 in your AUTOEXEC.BAT.

I prefer you to run it in dosbox

I solved some of my problem.

First, the comp I'm using is too slow for dosbox. It works in dosbox but is miserably slow.

But I figured out the problem in dos....somewhat. I needed to put on dos awe32 drivers with the plug and play dealio. I now get sound in all the other dos games but now Kyrandia hangs at start up.
