Traffic Department 2192

Post by sam92 »

Hi there, I was searching the games archives and I found Traffic Department which was a game I loved playing years ago and had forgot it's name until I saw it recently. I have Windows XP. and when I double click on the .exe file it doesn't load, so I tried using cmd prompt and typing as the game says "cd\TD\TD1", however I get "Runtime error 200 at 006B:0091

I searched the forums for help and found a posting by Cyberdog who had the same error as me, so I tried using moslo, but that didn't work, and I think I did it right but idk. So I looked on the game reviews and saw someone said to get the DosBox DOS emulator, which I did, however I don't really understand how to use it. I've been reading the readmes and trying but to no avail, if someone knows the correct prompt of DosBox coding I should type in to get this to work please respond to this

im afraid to say that this game maybe not compatable with XP

Please PM me the location you obtained this game or email it to me

here is the the instructions to use dosbox
.

it is complicated at 1st but i would like users to REFER to this!

while in dosbox

put the actual game in the C drive directory to SAVE hassles

there for type
mount (mounts the drive virtually) c (the drive letter) and mount c c:\(directory)

you would type
mount c c:\(directory)

then when that command is executed type c:\
and your files are there!
Then run the dos emulator as you would run dos normally
