Jezzball & Jungle Jack

Post by Desperate searcher »

I seek the two above games which I recently lost in a mishap. There's a version of Jezzball called Jezzball Deluxe, it's different...I am looking for a plainclothes Jezzball that was originally part of a Microsoft entertainment pack for Windows 3.1. Why don't I load it up now? Memory error. Apparently this disk of mine needs a genuine 386 to load, because no matter how I shuffle conventional memory and it's partners, the disk won't load. It also included favorites such as Chip's challenge, but I have difficulty remembering what else was on it because it's been so long since I've been able to load the disk.

Jezzball is with the following files:

(exe), OEMSETUP.inf, TRIWLV.DR_, WEP4UTIL.dll.

It will work independently of the rest of entertainment pack, so I am hoping it is floating around the net.

Jungle Jack is a 1982 or 1984 title (PC...not to be confused with another c64 title of the same name) I believe, in which you arrange pipes on houses with various pipe fixtures to supply water and prevent a flood a la "Pipe dream." I can't remember who did it, it might have been written by William Soleau of Soleau software, but I'm not sure.

Ack! This might be a warez request. (I think it is!).

Would you kindly point me to the webpage selling these programs to support your theory?

Thing is, Microsoft probably never lets go of anything it writes, but that doesn't mean nothing from Microsoft is available online.

If I thought it was a warez request I wouldn't have put it here.

Even if software is not sold anymore, downloading it is still considered illegal. Abandonware and warez are equally illegal.

But not equally immoral. This one is a toughy... I used to own it but unfortunately it left in a computer crash long ago and the floppy is hidden somewhere in the depths of my attic. 21st Century Oldies used to allow you to download it but had to stop because of legal trouble. You could ask at
their forum
to see if any of the oldbies there still have a copy and/or e-mail the admin.
