old 2d tank game

Hello I used to play a small tank game. It had a top-view. TRhe goal was to infiltrate the other tank's base and get his flag then bring it back to your base. There was some turrets also. This game could be played multiplayer split screen and network too if I remember correctly.

Does that ring a bell for anyone?

nevermind... just found the title... Firepower... now I just have to find the game...

Sorry, you aren't allowed to post sites to HOTU. Even if the game IS freeware. Ne'er the less, I've dropped the clue that it can be found on the the-underdogs orginazation. --Richard

Just thought I'd let you know that FirePower is a port or copy of the original game called Return Fire. There have been at least two Windows versions that were pretty good. Look around for them. The original Return Fire was an Amiga game, I think.

Return Fire was also made for windows IIRC... I've played it.
