Looking for a side scroller, forgot the name

Post by pieter3d »

Hey all,

I'm looking for a side scrolling game. This is what I remember

-320x200 resolution
-smallish character you control by 4 arrow keys (up = jump)
-monsters in 1st level are gobs of green ooze moving around on the platforms
-the point is to collect yellow balls, and keys that open doors to new areas
- there are a few kinds of potion you can grab, one lets you fly, one lets you walk upside down, one lets you jump high (i think).
-First level has a starry, black/blue background, platforms are ground color with grass ontop.
-Has cool music

I was fairly certain it began with a 'P' , but could be otherwise.

Thanks.

This kind of reminds me of Hocus Pocus.

Question, is this windows or DOS? In 1993 there was a game released for windows named "Micro Man" or something of the sort. The main character was Bob Jones and it fits your description perfectly.
