Speaking of Tyrian... if you open Tryian 2000 (full version) right now you'll be presented with a "Christmas Tyrian-Do you want to activate?" message. If you do you get this really sweet christmas mod where you shoot candycanes and snowmen and bulbs.
How does it do that, detect the month from the calendar or something?

seems to me Raptor had a few codes built into it. When the date was set to a certain time, you typed something in and it gave you mad money and godmode...
And arrrr... it's been something like 4 years (last time I had a computer Tyrian would run music on) since I've heard that score... annoying as I remembered it.
