need help finding game, cant remember name

Ok, I really want to find this game. Its quite old, may or may not be DOS. But here's as best I can describe it, I forgot the name:

Its chess/checkers, but the pieces are either light or dark side, like the dark side would have dragons and things, the light side had genies and unicorns and stuff. When 2 pieces from opposing sides both land in the same place, your taken to another screen where you have to fight the computer/other person's chess piece and they have like powers and stuff.

I dunno if this helps but the company logo or logo for that game has 2 dragon heads facing eachother.
Man I really wanna find this game, please help.

no its not but i found out its archon ultra but i cant play it on my comp cuz i have windows xp

I can actually play dos games on XP...dunno why people are always having trouble with that....

I've seen that before. Sorry, but my friend had it, so i don't know what its called. Ill ask him if I get a chance.

well i dunno if i downloaded it all the way i only get 3 files, archon.exe, and 2 other w/ the extension PKG
when i try to launch it the black window pops up the dissappers
