Yep, it is, but 3 even better. I tried to look for Heroes of Might and Magic 2 once, butI couldn't find it anywhere! So I decided to buy number 3.
"Long before there was ultra-super-duper-128-bit-polygon-video-capture, hardware hype, wEiRd TyPe, pointless game ratings, E3, SCREAMING GUYS in ads, Virtual Reality, cliches like "in your face" and "it's the ultimate", 360 degree roto-scope-rhetoric from self righteous reviewers, CD-this, 3-D that, multi-million-dollar TV commercials tainted with TOILET humor...

...there was fun."

The OPCFG - dedicated to the preservation of classic forms of gaming since 1998!

yes i got 3,it is great,do you have yourselve made maps?,i don't have yet but i am working on one,i had demo of the 2 but i lost the cd on wich it was.

Well I have few, but I don't like making levels for that game so much. There's not much you can do, you know. (Compared to editors such as in Star Craft or Red Faction...)

By the way, Heroes of Might and Magic 2 isn't a DOS game, is it?

There was a "millenium collection" released a few years ago that had Windows versions of the first three games. You can probably find it on ebay.

I have the 2 Gold edition, you and still buy it I'm sure.

Also, a game called Disciples is very similar, but newer and I think cooler. Check it out at the manufactures site, www.strategyfirst.com or else do a google search.
