It's up the flag pole. Who'll salute?

People who play dos games probably play other older games for different systems and consoles too, they are called retro-gamers (I am one).

I don't dig D-Gers.

How about "GLERFS," and not tell people what it stands for, since we don't know either.

Well the concept is an easy to say/use/type handle. DOS Gamers seems long. DG's seemed like BeeGees. DosGers reminded me of Tigers. So D-Gers (hmm, or D-Jrs?) appeared the be near the mark.
On to Idium commitee, round 2.....

DosGamers is a little to long and obvious, retro-gamers makes us sound too old and stuffy. D-Gers is okay, but there's just something missing. I don't know, I sort of liked GLERFS.
Once we decide, let's force emmzee to personally make us buttons that say, "I'm a (insert term here)! (insert advertisement, website endorsements, etc. here)"
"You believe me," I said gratefully.
"Of course I do," and he held out his hand. "I believe everything out of the common. The only thing to distrust is the normal."
