Can't save Game!!!!!!!!

ANyone pls help:

Can't seem to save Game
everytime when i try , it says error opening file savedata.gk2
and the game jams!!!
HELP

right click on savedata.gk2 and click " properties" then untick read-only.

Genghis Khan II is one of the best games i've ever played..!!
