Yeah, I'm trying to get Wing Commander 4 or Toonstruck to work in Windows 2000 Pro, but they all just can't get the VESA to work either (or the sound for that matter). Darn annoying. Hopefully somebody will know what to do.
Windows 2k doesnt let software directly interface with the hardware, which is what the VESA driver is trying to do. Win 9x should work fine. I believe that most newer era cards are VESA compliant
