It's true that we've registered dosgames.tk, but we didn't know it was da_goat's before. I guess DotTK has an estimated number of visitors every month, and da goat didn't managed to get this number of visitors or something... so to come to the point... we were not evil minded or something. to do everybody a favour, we we will redirect dosgames.tk to da_goat's site again :-)

Good point
Good point jorrit!!
I have notified them about this, and in fact provided a list of games that I felt they should remove. However they have assured me that
1) Many of those games are demos
2) (I am paraphrasing here) They don't feel that the rest "really count"
They did remove many games before moving their site to my server, but the ones that remain they didn't feel were "important enough" (again my paraphrasing not their words) to take down.
It would be better for Erik or Joris to respond to this, but basically, I am aware that there is some abandonware stuff there, but I have essentially wiped my hands of it, and left it up to them whether or not they wish to include it. My hope is that they will over time remove all abandonware material while replacing it with freeware/shareware material.
Again, they should probably be responding to this, not me, this is just my opinions on this stuff.
(And yes I realize the hypocrisy present on this issue so don't waste your time pointing it out )

No, I unregistered my domain. Go ahead and keep it.[DGO] Erik wrote:It's true that we've registered dosgames.tk, but we didn't know it was da_goat's before. Technically, Jorrit, the readme to "4D Prince of Persia" said "welcome to the wonderful world of warez" or something to that effect. I looked for the topic on GH, but I guess it was purged.

Abandonware???
Hmmz...
It's true that before we moved the site to the dosgames.com server we removed all the games emmzee wanted us to remove. The games you named were not on this list...
i'm not quiet sure if providing these games are against any law, we didn't find them on any list. Argue against me if you think so...
About the French/Swahili/Dutch/whatever thing: everything is translated now. There's no more DUTCH on the site, except some dutch games we're still providing, but this dutch games have an english descrpition too.

Speaking of POP... i read in some videogame magazine that they are remaking (or making a new version altogether) of POP...
