I have been trying to play an dos game 'Day Of The Tentacle' but it performs an 'illegal operation' every time after a few seconds. My computer is more than enough powerful so could this be caused by incompatiblity?
I tried it on another computer with XP and it doesn't work on that but does on an old one with win 95.
If I run it from the shortcut it also says it 'accessed memory in use at 00008CBA from 9024:068D' (this probably means nothing to anyone!)
It does not say this if I run the EXE on the disk.
do I need to run it from dos mode?
