I'm looking for a game where you have to rescue your dog. I used to have it on a floppy, but i've lost it. I only remember a few things.
1) In the intro, you see that a robot 'dognaps' your dog.
2) In one of the levels, you have to move a ball in a sort of labyrinth. It was looking like this:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
| |
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| |
| ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
|
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
and it continues for a while.
Who knows the title of this game?

Believe it or not, Rescue Rover (and the sequel, Rescue Rover II) are still being sold
So they aren't even abandonware. See for yourself:

Seems whoever owns DownloadStore bought the rights to all the old SoftDisk games (also including other id software classics like Hovertank 3D, Shadow Knights, etc). $9.95 seems like a lot to me for a DOS game originally released in 1990 ... especially since that's just to download the game!
This is why, unfortunately, you can't find these games on dosgames.com.
