The title of this topic says it all: DOS Games Archive is 5 years old! The website was uploaded for the first time in the end of June '98. Back then the website was called 'The Games Archive' and I used Tripod and later XOOM (both free webspace providers); not very professional of course
By the way, are there any real classic or typical DOS games that you think are missing? I forgot to add a chess game for example. I would like to have 250 games available for download in a short time. Thanks in advance for providing some titles you think that can't be left out.

About that chess game, I'd recommend Sargon. The last ver I recall was 4. It was very highly rated in it's day. An alternative is Chessmaster 3000, which was the last DOS version of that prog.

I agree with Da_Goat, but there both very nice sites.

Personally the main thing that I like about dosgames.com more is that it shows reviews for a bunch of games on one page, while archives doesn't. But what I like about archives more is that each one has a picture to the review, meaning you don't have to open another window. It gets very cluttered when I have all the picture windows open. I also like how you let people respond and rate the games themselves. Overall, I really can't choose which is better.
