man this game was old but AWESOME. it was a top down view of some sort of space game where you were in a ship and you could fly around to different planets and things and i think get your own. you could buy like little platforms and other things for ur planets i believe. it was a color game and the one distinct feature i remember was that there was a radio that u could use i guess it was for multiplayer but i always used it in single player to toy with the computer. and also i think there were only a few template ships u could get maybe. i know its awful vague, but that radio feature may give it away. PLEEEEEEEASE help

sorry, forgot to mention that it was a windows system. i guess it must've been about 7-10 years ago that i had it. may have been freeware.
